Sie bildete das R\u00fcckgrat unserer Rekordbohrung und beeinflusste jede einzelne unserer technischen Entscheidungen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aufbauend auf <a Konzept zur Rekordmaschine: Das TUM Boring Projekt 2024<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Die Hauptaufgabe des von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boringcompany.com\/\">The Boring Company<\/a> organisierten Wettbewerbs war eindeutig: Einen 30 Meter langen Tunnel so schnell wie m\u00f6glich zu bohren. F\u00fcr uns bei <a href=\"https:\/\/tum-boring.com\/\">TUM Boring<\/a> bedeutete das: maximale Leistung bei h\u00f6chster Vielseitigkeit. Unser Fokus lag auf drei zentralen Entwicklungszielen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Erh\u00f6htes Drehmoment am Schneidkopf<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Erweiterte maximale Tunnell\u00e4nge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anpassungsf\u00e4higkeit an unterschiedliche geologische Bedingungen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Trotz gro\u00dfer Freiheiten im Design waren die Sicherheitsanforderungen streng und die infrastrukturellen Bedingungen klar definiert. Aufgrund lokaler Bodenproben rechneten wir mit klebrigem Lehm und entwickelten ein schaumgest\u00fctztes Antihaftsystem f\u00fcr den Schneidkopf. Sie musste den Schaum vom feststehenden in den rotierenden Teil \u2013 direkt in den Schneidkopf \u2013 \u00fcbertragen. Komponenten mit langen Lieferzeiten wurden priorisiert entworfen und fr\u00fchzeitig bestellt. Trotzdem trafen manche Bauteile erst knapp vor oder sogar nach unseren Fristen ein. Wo m\u00f6glich setzten wir auf Normteile, um Kosten und Lieferzeiten zu minimieren. Die Gewissheit, dass wir bei Bedarf kurzfristig hochpr\u00e4zise Teile bekommen, gab uns Sicherheit und Fokus. In Zukunft wollen wir diesen Ansatz der schnellen Fertigung noch intensiver nutzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch die Montage folgte wie das Design einem \u201eDivide-and-Conquer\u201c-Ansatz: Teilsysteme wurden separat zusammengebaut und anschlie\u00dfend integriert. Dieses Prinzip galt auch f\u00fcr die Tests: Jedes Teilsystem wurde separat gepr\u00fcft, dann kombiniert \u2013 bis die gesamte Maschine vollst\u00e4ndig in Betrieb ging.<\/p>\n\n\n    <section haben nicht nur gewonnen, sondern auch einen neuen Rekord aufgestellt. Der bisherige lag bei rund 20 Metern \u2013 wir erreichten 22,5 Meter. Obwohl unsere Maschine f\u00fcr deutlich mehr ausgelegt war, machte das harte Erdreich das Ergebnis umso wertvoller. Ein Meilenstein, der ein Jahr intensiver Vorbereitung, Entwicklungsphasen und Teamarbeit kr\u00f6nte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und es geht weiter: Der n\u00e4chste Wettbewerb f\u00fcr 2026 ist bereits angek\u00fcndigt. Ein neues TUM Boring Team formiert sich, um die Grenzen weiter zu verschieben \u2014 mit neuer Maschine, frischen Ideen und noch ambitionierteren Zielen.<\/p>\n\n\n    <section
