Nicht nur irgendeine Kaffeem\u00fchle, sondern eine, die mit ihrem schlanken Design und batteriebetriebener Funktionalit\u00e4t, nahtlos in Ihr Zuhause passen w\u00fcrde. Die Herausforderung f\u00fcr KOPI Concepts war es dabei, zu verstehen, was es kosten w\u00fcrde, die Kaffeem\u00fchle in gr\u00f6\u00dferen St\u00fcckzahlen zu fertigen. Sie wussten zwar, dass der Markt der Kaffeekonsumenten durchaus Interesse am KOPI Deva hatten, aber wie viele Kaffeem\u00fchlen sie tats\u00e4chlich w\u00fcrden absetzen k\u00f6nnen war unbekannt \u2013 sie mussten als flexibel sein!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KOPI Concepts nutzte die Xometry Instant Quoting Engine sehr oft, um nach den Preisen f\u00fcr die Teile der Kaffeem\u00fchle in verschiedenen St\u00fcckzahlsegmenten zu sehen. Der Prototyp durchlief dabei f\u00fcnf Entwicklungsphasen, in denen Xometry sie durch den Prozess begleitete. Der Senior Key Account Manager, Dorien Sarsby, stand dabei mit Ratschl\u00e4gen zur Auswahl der bestm\u00f6glichen lebensmittelechten Materialien f\u00fcr die gefertigten Teile zur Seite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als dann der Moment kam, um nach oben zu skalieren, fand KOPI sofortigen Zugang zu Herstellern, die die Flexibilit\u00e4t boten, um in verschiedenen St\u00fcckzahlen produzieren zu k\u00f6nnen. Ein gro\u00dfer Vorteil aus der Zusammenarbeit mit Xometry. &#8222;Xometry bot uns eine Abk\u00fcrzung auf dem Markt. Wir nutzten das massive Fertigungsnetzwerk von Xometry, um Kapazit\u00e4ten in kleine und mittelgro\u00dfen Werkst\u00e4tten zu finden, die die St\u00fcckzahlen fertigen konnten, die wir brauchten.&#8220; erkl\u00e4rte Brandon Wong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als kleines Unternehmen fand KOPI Concepts einen Mehrwert in der Zusammenarbeit mit Xometry, da sie sich somit auf das Produktdesign und die Produktentwicklung konzentrieren konnten, w\u00e4hrend Xometry sich um die Logistik, die Qualit\u00e4tskontrolle und die Kommunikation mit den Herstellern k\u00fcmmerte. Brandon Wong f\u00fcgt hinzu:&#8220;Ich wei\u00df wicklich zu sch\u00e4tzen, dass uns Xometry auf dem ganzen Weg in jedem Schritt des Prozesses unterst\u00fctzte. Das ist etwas, von dem ich denke, dass es nicht gerade \u00fcblich ist, und was uns als kleines Unternehmen wirklich half.&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"die-lebensmittelechten-teile-fuer-eine-premiumkaffeeerfahrung\"><strong>Die Lebensmittelechten Teile f\u00fcr eine Premium-Kaffeeerfahrung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Nachdem die Prototypen bei den Kaffeeliebhabern gut angekommen war, bewegte sich KOPI Concepts mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit in die Massenproduktion, und nutzte dazu die von pr\u00e4zisionsgefertigten Teile vom Xometry im gesamten Prozess. Zu den Teilen geh\u00f6rt eine lebensmittelechte Edelstahlhalterung, die es den Kunden erlaubte, direkt in eine Tasse zu mahlen, die man in die Kaffeemaschine stellt. Diese Teile wurden auf einer CNC-Drehbank gedreht und dann per Trommel- und Vibrationspolitur nachbehandelt, um eine hochwertige Oberfl\u00e4che zu erhalten.
