Para cumplir los requisitos de la competici\u00f3n, un di\u00e1metro m\u00e1ximo de rueda de 220 mm y la capacidad de soportar una carga vertical de 120 N, evaluamos cada concepto mediante un modelado CAD detallado y un an\u00e1lisis de elementos finitos (FEA). desarroll\u00e1ndolo. Su mayor facilidad de fabricaci\u00f3n y su respuesta estructural coherente lo convirtieron en el mejor candidato. Sus comentarios llevaron el proyecto al siguiente nivel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Entramado revisado<\/strong>: nuestro dise\u00f1o inicial mostraba una deformaci\u00f3n desigual en toda la circunferencia. Los ingenieros recomendaron una disposici\u00f3n m\u00e1s sim\u00e9trica y radial de los puntales internos, inspirada en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michelin.fr\/why-michelin\/sustainability\/prototype-michelin-uptis\">el prototipo Uptis de Michelin<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Retirada de la cubierta antipolvo<\/strong>: las cubiertas parciales corr\u00edan el riesgo de atrapar polvo fino y grava. Un dise\u00f1o totalmente abierto lo eliminar\u00eda y mejorar\u00eda la est\u00e9tica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Optimizaci\u00f3n de la banda de rodadura<\/strong>: redujimos la altura de la banda de rodadura y cambiamos a un dibujo sim\u00e9trico para favorecer la conducci\u00f3n bidireccional y reducir el desgaste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ajuste de la dureza del material<\/strong>: se aconsej\u00f3 Shore A &gt;70 para equilibrar la suavidad y el soporte estructural. El TPU EOS 1301 (Shore 86A) fue la elecci\u00f3n final: ideal para la amortiguaci\u00f3n de impactos, resistente a los rayos UV y compatible con el sinterizado selectivo por l\u00e1ser (SLS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Toda esta informaci\u00f3n se incorpor\u00f3 a nuestro dise\u00f1o CAD final, que presentaba un entramado interno uniforme, la integraci\u00f3n del soporte del motor y un dibujo sim\u00e9trico de la banda de rodadura. TPU 1301 no aparec\u00eda en el desplegable en ese momento, as\u00ed que seleccionamos \u00abTPU\u00bb y especificamos el material exacto en los comentarios del pedido. Gracias al patrocinio del 80% de Xometry, pudimos fabricar las seis ruedas dentro de nuestro presupuesto para estudiantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando las ruedas impresas llegaron en febrero, la calidad era excepcional. El proceso SLS ofrec\u00eda la precisi\u00f3n dimensional que necesit\u00e1bamos y las piezas mostraban una flexibilidad excelente sin defectos visibles. Tras superar con \u00e9xito las pruebas de flexi\u00f3n, montamos las ruedas en el chasis del rover. La integraci\u00f3n fue perfecta: la cavidad desplazada encaj\u00f3 a la perfecci\u00f3n en el eje del motor y la estructura de nido de abeja proporcion\u00f3 la amortiguaci\u00f3n que hab\u00edamos id=\"h-lecciones-de-ingenieria-mas-alla-del-aula\"><strong>Lecciones de ingenier\u00eda m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del aula<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Este proyecto fue m\u00e1s que un ejercicio de dise\u00f1o: fue un curso intensivo de ingenier\u00eda en el mundo real. Lo m\u00e1s importante:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>La simetr\u00eda estructural es importante<\/strong>: los patrones irregulares conducen a un comportamiento impredecible. La adopci\u00f3n de principios probados de simetr\u00eda radial dio como resultado una rueda m\u00e1s segura y fiable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>La geometr\u00eda de la banda de rodadura no es s\u00f3lo est\u00e9tica<\/strong>: hay que evaluar cuidadosamente el equilibrio entre agarre, desgaste y fabricabilidad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>La dureza Shore es cr\u00edtica<\/strong>: la flexibilidad sin colapso estructural es una l\u00ednea muy fina. La selecci\u00f3n de materiales puede ser decisiva.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Las limitaciones de fabricaci\u00f3n deben integrarse desde el principio<\/strong>: la colaboraci\u00f3n con proveedores como Xometry nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 a dise\u00f1ar para la realidad, no solo para la pantalla.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>De cara al futuro, estas ruedas se someter\u00e1n a m\u00e1s pruebas sobre el terreno mientras nos preparamos para el ERC. Pero independientemente del resultado de la competici\u00f3n, ya hemos conseguido fabricar un componente que cumple los requisitos t\u00e9cnicos, que se ha entregado a trav\u00e9s de canales profesionales y que nos ha ense\u00f1ado lecciones que la mayor\u00eda de los ingenieros solo aprenden sobre el terreno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color
