Cette structure permet de r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;utilisation de mat\u00e9riaux et le poids des pi\u00e8ces jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 30&nbsp;%, tout en pr\u00e9servant la r\u00e9sistance et la stabilit\u00e9 dimensionnelle. Les ing\u00e9nieurs l&rsquo;utilisent pour fabriquer de grands composants rigides qui doivent rester l\u00e9gers, comme les tableaux de bord, les bo\u00eetiers et les panneaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, il convient d&rsquo;utiliser des moulures en mousse&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La taille des pi\u00e8ces est importante<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La r\u00e9duction du poids est essentielle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La finition de la surface n&rsquo;est pas cosm\u00e9tique<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 consiste \u00e0 m\u00e9langer un thermoplastique fondu avec un agent gonflant chimique ou physique. \u00c0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur du moule, une chute de pression contr\u00f4l\u00e9e provoque l&rsquo;expansion de l&rsquo;agent, formant des bulles de gaz uniformes (environ 4 mm de diam\u00e8tre). L&rsquo;expansion ne se produit qu&rsquo;une fois que le mat\u00e9riau a rempli la cavit\u00e9.
