Pour cr\u00e9er de telles pi\u00e8ces, deux solutions sont envisageables : soit partir sur un mat\u00e9riau intrins\u00e8quement r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la corrosion qui sera alors travaill\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/usinage-cnc\/\">usinage CNC<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/production-de-pieces-de-tolerie\/\">t\u00f4lerie<\/a> ou impression 3D via la <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/impression-3d-frittage-laser-direct-de-metal-dmls\/\">technologie DMLS<\/a> (\u00ab Direct Metal Laser Sintering \u00bb), soit accro\u00eetre la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019une pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 r\u00e9sister \u00e0 de telles agressions gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un traitement post-usinage appropri\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-methode-1-choisir-des-metaux-typiquement-resistants-a-la-corrosion\"><strong>M\u00e9thode 1 : Choisir des m\u00e9taux typiquement r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la corrosion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-acier-inoxydable\"><strong>Acier inoxydable<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Les aciers inoxydables forment une famille regroupant environ 200 alliages d\u2019acier b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d\u2019une forte r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la chaleur et \u00e0 la corrosion. Leur teneur en carbone varie de 0,03% \u00e0 1,2%, mais c\u2019est leur forte teneur en chrome qui les distingue : l\u2019acier inoxydable int\u00e8gre une proportion de chrome \u00e0 hauteur de 10,5%, ce qui cr\u00e9e une couche d\u2019oxydation passive protectrice permettant au m\u00e9tal de r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la corrosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En fonction de leurs microstructures, les aciers inoxydables peuvent \u00eatre divis\u00e9s en 3 grandes cat\u00e9gories :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Les aciers aust\u00e9nitiques : <\/strong>ces aciers comportent au moins 18% de chrome et 8% \u00e0 12% de nickel, en plus d\u2019un m\u00e9lange d\u2019azote, de carbone et de bien d\u2019autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Le chrome conf\u00e8re une importante r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion, tandis que l\u2019azote fonctionne comme un agent rigidifiant. Ces alliages sont rang\u00e9s, dans la nomenclature standard, sous la s\u00e9rie dite des \u00ab 300 \u00bb, les plus commun\u00e9ment employ\u00e9s \u00e9tant l\u2019acier inoxydable 304 et l\u2019acier inoxydable 316, ce dernier \u00e9tant le plus r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la corrosion des deux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Les aciers martensitiques :<\/strong> ces aciers comportent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement du chrome (\u00e0 hauteur de 11,5% \u00e0 13%), du carbone (\u00e0 hauteur de 0,15%) et du mangan\u00e8se (\u00e0 hauteur de 0,1%), avec des inclusions de molybd\u00e8ne et de soufre ou de s\u00e9l\u00e9nium. La s\u00e9rie concern\u00e9e est celle des \u00ab 400 \u00bb, le plus commun\u00e9ment utilis\u00e9 \u00e9tant le 420A. Le carbone conf\u00e8re \u00e0 ces alliages une bonne r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9caniques, mais leur faible teneur en chrome les rend moins r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la corrosion compar\u00e9e \u00e0 la s\u00e9rie des 300.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Les aciers ferritiques : <\/strong>le terme d\u00e9signe une cat\u00e9gorie d\u2019aciers qui ne prennent pas la trempe, avec une teneur en chrome variant de 10,5% \u00e0 30%, et une teneur en carbone inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 20%. Bien que ces aciers ne puissent pas \u00eatre tremp\u00e9s via les traitements thermiques habituels, il est possible de leur faire subir l\u2019\u00e9quivalent d\u2019une trempe l\u00e9g\u00e8re par laminage \u00e0 froid. Ils font \u00e9galement partie de la s\u00e9rie dite des \u00ab 400 \u00bb, le plus commun\u00e9ment utilis\u00e9 \u00e9tant le 430A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Les aciers duplex<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les alliages d\u2019acier duplex, comme leur nom l\u2019indique, comportent deux phases diff\u00e9rentes. Ils combinent les meilleures propri\u00e9t\u00e9s des phases ferritiques et aust\u00e9nitiques pour donner naissance \u00e0 un m\u00e9tal extr\u00eamement r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la corrosion. Les alliages les plus typiques sont le S32750 (avec 25% de chrome, 7% de nickel et 4% de molybd\u00e8ne) et le 2205 (avec 22% de chrome, 5% de nickel et 3% de molybd\u00e8ne). Ils sont utilis\u00e9s dans des applications tr\u00e8s exigeantes en termes de performances.<\/p>\n\n\n    <section class=\"article-slider-block\">\r\n        <div        <\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/section>\r\n    \n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-superalliages\"><strong>Superalliages<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Les superalliages sont des alliages m\u00e9talliques de haute performance, qui offrent tout \u00e0 la fois une bonne r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion (y compris \u00e0 hautes temp\u00e9ratures) et d\u2019excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques. C\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs la raison pour laquelle ils sont souvent employ\u00e9s l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les exigences sont fortes, tant en termes de performances qu\u2019en termes d\u2019endurance \u00e0 la corrosion (notamment pour l\u2019a\u00e9rospatiale et le secteur m\u00e9dical).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les superalliages se diff\u00e9rencient par l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment principal les composant :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Les superalliages de nickel : <\/strong>bas\u00e9s sur le nickel, ces superalliages conf\u00e8rent une forte r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9caniques en plus d\u2019une excellente endurance \u00e0 la corrosion et \u00e0 la chaleur (en raison de son faible taux de dilatation thermique). Leur m\u00e9moire de forme et leur facilit\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre usin\u00e9 en font des mat\u00e9riaux uniques en leur genre. L\u2019inconel 718 en est un exemple, d\u2019ailleurs utilisable en impression 3D.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Les superalliages de cobalt : <\/strong>bas\u00e9s sur le cobalt, ces superalliages ont un point de fusion bien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que leurs homologues \u00e0 base de nickel ou de fer, en plus d\u2019offrir une meilleure r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion \u00e0 chaud. Plus faciles \u00e0 souder que les superalliages de nickel, les poudres \u00e0 base d\u2019alliages de cobalt et de chrome sont aussi utilisables en impression 3D.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Les superalliages de fer : <\/strong>bas\u00e9s sur le fer, ces superalliages b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une forte r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante, tout en \u00e9tant hautement r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 l\u2019oxydation, \u00e0 l\u2019usure, au fluage et \u00e0 la corrosion. Ils sont \u00e9galement meilleur march\u00e9 que les deux cat\u00e9gories pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment cit\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aluminium\"><strong>Aluminium<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>L\u2019aluminium poss\u00e8de une forte affinit\u00e9 pour l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, formant donc une couche passive d\u2019oxydation le rendant imp\u00e9rieux \u00e0 la corrosion. La plupart des types d\u2019aluminium sont aussi r\u00e9sistants aux attaques chimiques, les grades 1xxx, 3xxx et 5xxx \u00e9tant les plus endurants dans ce domaine : ils se maintiennent bien dans des environnements o\u00f9 le pH oscille entre 4,5 et 8,5 (la zone habituellement consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme corrosive). Il est possible de lui ajouter une couche suppl\u00e9mentaire anti-corrosion gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un processus d\u2019anodisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>S\u00e9rie 1xxx :<\/strong> dans cette s\u00e9rie, l\u2019aluminium est d\u2019une grande puret\u00e9 (environ 99%) et pr\u00e9sente la meilleure r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion pour des applications normales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>S\u00e9rie 3xxx :<\/strong> dans cette s\u00e9rie, le mangan\u00e8se constitue le compos\u00e9 d\u2019alliage majoritaire (alliage Al-Mn, avec une teneur en mangan\u00e8se jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1,25%), ce qui rend ces alliages ductiles, au prix d\u2019une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieure par rapport aux alliages de la s\u00e9rie 1xxx. L\u2019aluminium Al-Si1Mg, par exemple, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une forte r\u00e9sistance aux fissures induites par la corrosion sous des contraintes m\u00e9caniques importantes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>S\u00e9rie 5xxx :<\/strong> dans cette s\u00e9rie, le magn\u00e9sium constitue le compos\u00e9 d&rsquo;alliage majoritaire. Les alliages qui en d\u00e9coulent ont une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion similaire \u00e0 ceux de la s\u00e9rie 3xxx, mais peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier davantage d\u2019un traitement par \u00e9crouissage, en plus d\u2019offrir une surface \u00e9clatante.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n    <section class=\"article-slider-block\">\r\n        <div class=\"article-content-wrapper\">\r\n b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une haute conductivit\u00e9 thermique, d\u2019une forte r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion et d\u2019une excellente duret\u00e9. Ils offrent \u00e9galement une bonne r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique \u00e0 hautes temp\u00e9ratures et sont souvent int\u00e9gr\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u2019autres alliages m\u00e9talliques en vue d\u2019am\u00e9liorer leur endurance \u00e0 la corrosion. Les options les plus courantes, en termes de mat\u00e9riaux r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la corrosion dans cette famille, sont :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Le bronze :<\/strong> l\u2019un des plus anciens alliages connus. Le bronze d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui est compos\u00e9 de 88% de cuivre additionn\u00e9 de 12% d\u2019\u00e9tain, bien qu\u2019il puisse \u00e9galement comporter du nickel, du mangan\u00e8se, de l\u2019aluminium, du silicium, du zinc ou de l\u2019arsenic. Le fait d\u2019ajouter une faible quantit\u00e9 de silicium permet d\u2019augmenter la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion de l\u2019alliage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Le laiton :<\/strong> alliage de cuivre et de zinc, le laiton peut aussi contenir de faibles quantit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9tain pour lui conf\u00e9rer une meilleure r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion (pour contrebalancer le zinc, qui aurait plut\u00f4t tendance \u00e0 la diminuer). Il est, en effet, 40% plus l\u00e9ger que l\u2019acier, tout en \u00e9tant aussi r\u00e9sistant et aussi solide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019instar des autres m\u00e9taux r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la corrosion, le titane forme une couche d\u2019oxyde passive sans laquelle il se corroderait imm\u00e9diatement. Sa r\u00e9sistance aux agents chlor\u00e9s est assez unique en son genre.
