L\u2019usinage CNC des mati\u00e8res plastiques, bien que tr\u00e8s similaire \u00e0 l\u2019usinage des autres mat\u00e9riaux, pr\u00e9sente malgr\u00e9 tout un certain nombre de diff\u00e9rences qu\u2019il convient de prendre en compte, parmi lesquelles&nbsp;: les outils de d\u00e9coupe utilis\u00e9s, la vitesse de d\u00e9coupe, le lubrifiant employ\u00e9 (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, on se contente d\u2019air) et le grain de surface attendu du produit fini.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usinage-cnc-des-polymeres-ou-impression-3d\"><strong><strong>Usinage CNC des polym\u00e8res ou impression 3D ?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>De nombreux clients consid\u00e8rent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/impression-3d\/\">l\u2019impression 3D<\/a>\u00a0comme une alternative viable \u00e0 l\u2019usinage CNC des mati\u00e8res plastiques. Mais, en d\u00e9finitive, le choix de l\u2019une ou l\u2019autre m\u00e9thode, dans le cadre d\u2019un projet sp\u00e9cifique, doit tenir compte des facteurs suivants\u00a0:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Taille d\u2019ouvrage <\/strong>:\u00a0l\u2019usinage CNC permet de r\u00e9aliser des ouvrages d\u2019une taille bien plus importante que l\u2019impression 3D. Notre r\u00e9seaux de partenaires inclus des ateliers capables de r\u00e9aliser des ouvrages allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1.625,6 x 812 x 965,2 mm en usinage CNC, contre seulement 600 x 900 x 900 mm pour l\u2019impression 3D (FDM). Par cons\u00e9quent, l\u2019usinage CNC est plus adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019ouvrages volumineux.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques <\/strong>: la plupart des technologies d\u2019impression 3D b\u00e2tissent leur ouvrage une couche apr\u00e8s l\u2019autre, ce qui compromet les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques du produit fini. La plupart du temps, cela ne constitue pas un probl\u00e8me sauf dans le cadre de certaines applications particuli\u00e8rement exigeantes, o\u00f9 il faudra pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer l\u2019usinage CNC\u00a0: en effet, ce dernier n\u2019alt\u00e8re pas les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques des pi\u00e8ces usin\u00e9es. Il est donc le choix id\u00e9al pour les applications exigeantes en termes de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pr\u00e9cision dimensionnelle <\/strong>: l\u2019usinage CNC offre la meilleure pr\u00e9cision dimensionnelle (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 \u00b10,025 mm). Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 supporte des tol\u00e9rances serr\u00e9es, et est particuli\u00e8rement appropri\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments habituellement difficiles \u00e0 imprimer&nbsp;: les trous, les ponts, les surplombs, etc\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Qualit\u00e9 de surface <\/strong>: les pi\u00e8ces plastiques usin\u00e9es en CNC pr\u00e9sentent une rugosit\u00e9 de surface de 3,2 \u03bcm en moyenne, sans aucun traitement post-usinage. D\u2019un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, les pi\u00e8ces imprim\u00e9es en 3D (via FDM, FSL ou MJF) b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u2019une rugosit\u00e9 plus faible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nombre de pi\u00e8ces <\/strong>: en raison de sa pr\u00e9cision dimensionnelle, de sa rapidit\u00e9 d\u2019ex\u00e9cution et de sa r\u00e9p\u00e9tabilit\u00e9, l\u2019usinage CNC est la m\u00e9thode de choix pour r\u00e9aliser un grand nombre (comprendre, sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 10) de pi\u00e8ces identiques. En revanche, dans le cadre du prototypage ou d\u2019une pi\u00e8ce particuli\u00e8rement complexe, l\u2019impression 3D pourra s\u2019av\u00e9rer \u00eatre une meilleure option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Co\u00fbts <\/strong>: l\u2019impression 3D est meilleure march\u00e9e quand il s\u2019agit de r\u00e9aliser des prototypes ou des petites s\u00e9ries. La rugosit\u00e9 de surface est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de 3,2 \u03bcm et peut m\u00eame descendre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 0,4 \u03bcm. Cependant, un traitement post-usinage peut \u00eatre n\u00e9cessaire, notamment pour am\u00e9liorer le grain de surface ou l\u2019apparence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l\u2019ouvrage. Ci-dessous sont r\u00e9pertori\u00e9es quelques-unes des op\u00e9rations r\u00e9alisables en post-usinage sur des pi\u00e8ces m\u00e9caniques en plastiques r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par usinage CNC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Microbillage <\/strong>: Une fois l\u2019usinage termin\u00e9, des restes de mati\u00e8res plastique peuvent demeur\u00e9s attach\u00e9s \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce. Le microbillage permet de s\u2019en d\u00e9barrasser et d\u2019obtenir une surface compl\u00e8tement lisse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Teinture <\/strong>: La teinture est une op\u00e9ration commun\u00e9ment r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans le but de changer la couleur de l\u2019ouvrage. De nombreuses colorations diff\u00e9rentes sont disponibles, mais les options peuvent \u00eatre limit\u00e9es selon le mat\u00e9riau choisi.
