Le principe de la CLIP est bas\u00e9 sur la photo-polym\u00e9risation qui permet de cr\u00e9er des objets solides avec des parois lisses. Un rayonnement ultraviolet (UV) est utilis\u00e9 pour solidifier une r\u00e9sine photosensible et lui donner la forme ou la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie d\u00e9sir\u00e9e, \u00e0 partir d\u2019un mod\u00e8le CAD en 3D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 fait usage d\u2019une cuve, dont une partie du fond est transparente afin de laisser passer la lumi\u00e8re UV, remplie de r\u00e9sine photopolym\u00e8re liquide. Un dispositif \u00e0 micro-miroir num\u00e9rique (Digital Micromirror Device ou DMD en anglais) est utilis\u00e9 pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir la lumi\u00e8re&nbsp;: ce dernier est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019une matrice de miroirs de taille microscopique, dispos\u00e9e sur une puce semi-conductrice et qui fonctionne comme un masque dynamique. Les variations rapides de positions de ces miroirs permettent de diriger la lumi\u00e8re et de d\u00e9finir les coordonn\u00e9es o\u00f9 la r\u00e9sine doit se solidifier pour une couche d\u2019impression donn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La partie polym\u00e9ris\u00e9e est lentement soulev\u00e9e de la cuve, la r\u00e9sine s\u2019\u00e9coulant par en-dessous maintient le contact avec la partie inf\u00e9rieure de la pi\u00e8ce en cours d\u2019impression. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une membrane perm\u00e9able \u00e0 l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, une interface liquide persistante est cr\u00e9\u00e9e juste sous la r\u00e9sine, ce qui l\u2019emp\u00eache d\u2019atteindre la fen\u00eatre. Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 est continu et est capable de produire des objets \u00e0 une vitesse 100 fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que les autres m\u00e9thodes d\u2019impression 3D disponibles sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La technologie DLS de Carbon peut produire des pi\u00e8ces dot\u00e9es de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques \u00e9poustouflantes et d\u2019un excellent grain de surface. En outre, elle autorise la cr\u00e9ation de g\u00e9om\u00e9tries jusque-l\u00e0 impossibles \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser. Toutefois, pour profiter pleinement du potentiel offert par cette technologie, vos mod\u00e8les 3D doivent \u00eatre sp\u00e9cifiquement optimis\u00e9s pour elle. Les lignes directrices ci-dessous devront \u00eatre scrupuleusement respect\u00e9es pour r\u00e9ussir vos projets d\u2019imprimerie 3D avec DLS de Carbon.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-surface-de-construction\"><strong>Surface de construction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Ceci d\u00e9termine la taille maximale r\u00e9alisable en termes d\u2019ouvrage. Le volume constructible est fonction de la taille du projecteur utilis\u00e9 : plus ce dernier sera proche de la fen\u00eatre, plus la r\u00e9solution sera \u00e9lev\u00e9e mais, en contrepartie, moins grande sera la taille maximale de l\u2019ouvrage. En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, le volume constructible standard est de 188 mm x 117 mm x 325 mm. Cependant, des pi\u00e8ces de dimensions 50,8 mm x 25,4 mm x 76,2 mm offrent les meilleures \u00e9conomies d\u2019\u00e9chelle en production.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tolerances-et-espacement\"><strong>Tol\u00e9rances et espacement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Pour pouvoir imprimer correctement vos pi\u00e8ces en 3D, il est essentiel d\u2019utiliser les bonnes tol\u00e9rances pendant la phase de conception. Ces tol\u00e9rances d\u00e9pendent de nombreux facteurs, tels que :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La taille de l\u2019imprimante<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les contraintes inh\u00e9rentes au mat\u00e9riau utilis\u00e9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les limitations de la plate-forme d\u2019impression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les dimensions importantes pour lesquelles les tol\u00e9rances devront \u00eatre fournies sont : l\u2019\u00e9paisseur de couche, l\u2019\u00e9paisseur de paroi, les espacements, la taille globale, l\u2019exactitude et les d\u00e9tails architecturaux.
