Cependant, l\u2019utilisation de cette technologie suscite encore des inqui\u00e9tudes, en particulier dans une telle industrie o\u00f9 il est n\u00e9cessaire de se conformer \u00e0 des normes strictes quant \u00e0 la fabrication des emballages alimentaires, des ustensiles de cuisine, voire des pi\u00e8ces de rechange pour les machines employ\u00e9es en production.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"criteres-a-prendre-en-compte-pour-limpression-3d-de-qualite-alimentaire\"><strong>Crit\u00e8res \u00e0 prendre en compte pour l\u2019impression 3D de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Le label qualit\u00e9 alimentaire implique qu\u2019un article a \u00e9t\u00e9 capable de satisfaire aux exigences relatives \u00e0 l\u2019usage qui en est attendu et ne puisse pas g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de probl\u00e8mes concomitant \u00e0 l\u2019absorption de nourriture. Les normes alimentaires de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne s\u2019appliquent \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes : depuis la production jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la consommation, en passant par le traitement et la distribution. La <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32004R1935&amp;from=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">norme europ\u00e9enne EC 1935\/2004<\/a> fournit les indications pour les mat\u00e9riaux et les objets destin\u00e9s \u00e0 entrer en contact avec de la nourriture, dans l\u2019optique d\u2019\u00e9viter une contamination quelconque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour r\u00e9sumer les choses, il y a trois crit\u00e8res \u00e0 prendre en compte pour les ouvrages imprim\u00e9s en 3D de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire : la conception de l\u2019article, le mat\u00e9riau utilis\u00e9 et les traitements post-usinage.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"concevoir-un-article-de-qualite-alimentaire\">Concevoir un article de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Quand il s\u2019agit de r\u00e9aliser les surfaces d\u2019un article de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire, il faudra veiller \u00e0 prendre en consid\u00e9ration les points suivants :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fentes et contre-d\u00e9pouilles : <\/strong>la surface devra \u00eatre con\u00e7ue de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il n\u2019y ait pas la moindre fente ou contre-d\u00e9pouille pr\u00e9sente. Si ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments ne peuvent \u00eatre \u00e9vit\u00e9s pour des raisons fonctionnelles, ils devront \u00eatre ais\u00e9ment accessibles pour permettre un nettoyage exhaustif en cas de d\u00e9sassemblage du produit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ar\u00eates et cong\u00e9s : <\/strong>les ar\u00eates et les bords devront avoir des cong\u00e9s dont le rayon de courbure sera le plus large possible. Certains mat\u00e9riaux, comme le PETG et le PP, sont connus pour \u00eatre intrins\u00e8quement sans danger vis-\u00e0-vis de la nourriture. Le choix du mat\u00e9riau d\u00e9pend surtout de l\u2019application finale. \u00c0 titre d\u2019exemple, le PLA est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire, mais est prompt \u00e0 fondre s\u2019il est utilis\u00e9 dans des applications \u00e0 hautes temp\u00e9ratures, comme les lave-vaisselles ou les tasses \u00e0 th\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La liste ci-dessous cite certaines propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 prendre en compte quand on choisit un mat\u00e9riau d\u2019impression 3D de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Non-absorbant : <\/strong>un traitement post-usinage est souvent n\u00e9cessaire pour rendre les surfaces non poreuses (polissage ou rev\u00eatement).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>R\u00e9sistant aux rayures et aux entailles :<\/strong> le mat\u00e9riau choisi doit \u00eatre r\u00e9sistant aux rayures et \u00e0 l\u2019usure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>N\u2019est pas toxique et n\u2019a pas d\u2019influence sur le go\u00fbt et la couleur des aliments : <\/strong>tous les mat\u00e9riaux de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire se doivent d\u2019\u00eatre inertes vis-\u00e0-vis de la nourriture. Il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable d\u2019utiliser des filaments naturels, sans coloration ajout\u00e9e. Le document \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fiche_de_donn%C3%A9es_de_s%C3%A9curit%C3%A9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Material Safety Data Sheet<\/a> \u00bb (MSDS), normalement disponible pour n\u2019importe quel mat\u00e9riau, devra toujours \u00eatre consult\u00e9 avant d\u2019utiliser un mat\u00e9riau sp\u00e9cifique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sterilisation\"><strong>St\u00e9rilisation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>La st\u00e9rilisation est une \u00e9tape additionnelle qui peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour augmenter la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux d\u00e9j\u00e0 consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme \u00e9tant de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire. Elle peut \u00eatre effectu\u00e9e au travers de nombreuses proc\u00e9dures : chaleur, agents chimiques, radiations, hautes pressions ou filtration. Cependant, tous les mat\u00e9riaux ne peuvent pas \u00eatre st\u00e9rilis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les cinq types de st\u00e9rilisation couvertes dans cette partie sont :&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gaz d\u2019oxyde d\u2019\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne (EtO)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plasma gazeux au p\u00e9roxyde La technologie SLA permet \u00e9galement d\u2019imprimer \u00e0 l\u2019aide de mat\u00e9riaux c\u00e9ramiques qui sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme \u00e9tant les plus s\u00fbrs du point de vue alimentaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De par ses sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s, l\u2019impression FDM produit des pi\u00e8ces comportant de nombreuses failles tr\u00e8s \u00e9troites entre chaque couche. De plus, elle n\u2019est pas particuli\u00e8rement connue pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des surfaces lisses. Afin d\u2019assurer une qualit\u00e9 alimentaire sur le long terme, les surfaces obtenues par impression 3D FDM doivent \u00eatre polies et un rev\u00eatement de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire pourra \u00eatre subs\u00e9quemment appliqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cas des technologies SLS et MJF, les articles peuvent \u00eatre directement imprim\u00e9s avec des mat\u00e9riaux de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire, comme le nylon PA 12, pour obtenir des pi\u00e8ces de haute qualit\u00e9. N\u00e9anmoins, l\u2019ajout d\u2019un rev\u00eatement de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire est hautement recommand\u00e9 pour rendre les articles non poreux.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"materiaux-dimpression-3d\"><strong>Mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019impression 3D<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Utiliser un mat\u00e9riau d\u2019impression 3D qui est le m\u00eame que celui ayant servi \u00e0 fabriquer l\u2019imprimante est une pratique dangereuse : il pourra en r\u00e9sulter une contamination des articles produits, et ce m\u00eame si le mat\u00e9riau employ\u00e9 est certifi\u00e9 de qualit\u00e9 alimentaire.
