MJF, avec ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s isotropes et sa r\u00e9solution d&rsquo;impression l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieure, est id\u00e9al pour les pi\u00e8ces fonctionnelles de petite taille. SLS, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une plus large gamme de mat\u00e9riaux et des volumes de construction plus importants, convient mieux aux prototypes visuels et aux pi\u00e8ces fonctionnelles de taille moyenne. Ce processus implique un laser CO2 fusionnant s\u00e9lectivement la poudre plastique en tra\u00e7ant chaque section transversale de la pi\u00e8ce, couche par couche. Elle consiste en un processus en plusieurs \u00e9tapes o\u00f9 une fine couche de poudre est \u00e9tal\u00e9e sur le lit d&rsquo;impression et chauff\u00e9e juste en dessous de son point de frittage. La technologie SLS est \u00e9galement capable d&rsquo;imprimer avec des nylons charg\u00e9s de carbone et d&rsquo;aluminium, et des machines SLS sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eos.info\/en-us\/polymer-solutions\/polymer-materials\/high-performance#ht-23\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> telles que celles d&rsquo;EOS<\/a> , peuvent g\u00e9rer des thermoplastiques techniques tels que le PEEK. id=\"h-temps-de-traitement\"><strong><strong>Temps de traitement<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Le processus d&rsquo;impression de MJF prend le m\u00eame temps par couche que le SLS, pour lequel le temps par couche est dict\u00e9 par la complexit\u00e9 de la section transversale \u00e0 scanner par le laser. En fin de compte, les impressions MJF sont plus rapides \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser que les impressions SLS et les r\u00e9sultats sont excellents pour la production en volume de pi\u00e8ces car il est possible d&rsquo;effectuer plus d&rsquo;impressions par machine par rapport au proc\u00e9d\u00e9 d&rsquo;impression SLS. Les deux proc\u00e9d\u00e9s permettent aux plateaux d&rsquo;impression de refroidir \u00e0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur de la machine, le temps de refroidissement n\u00e9cessitant g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 10 \u00e0 20 heures, selon la densit\u00e9 imbriqu\u00e9e. Pendant qu&rsquo;un plateau d&rsquo;impression refroidit, un nouveau plateau peut \u00eatre ins\u00e9r\u00e9 dans la machine pour commencer une nouvelle impression.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les op\u00e9rations SLS et MJF, il est recommand\u00e9 d&rsquo;utiliser trois plateaux pour chaque machine : un en cours d&rsquo;impression, un en cours de refroidissement et un dont les pi\u00e8ces refroidies r\u00e9parties ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9parties pour \u00eatre trait\u00e9es. Cette configuration permet la meilleure utilisation de la machine avec peu de temps d\u2019arr\u00eat.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-volume-d-impression\"><strong><strong>Volume d\u2019impression<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Les machines SLS peuvent produire des pi\u00e8ces avec des volumes d&rsquo;impression plus importants (jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 550 x 550 x 750 mm) par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;impression MJF (jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 380 x 284 x 380 mm). Mais dans les deux cas, il n&rsquo;est pas recommand\u00e9 de fabriquer des pi\u00e8ces aussi grandes que la surface d&rsquo;impression disponible, car cela peut cr\u00e9er des conditions thermiques qui peuvent affecter la pi\u00e8ce (gauchissement, torsion, r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement, etc.) et augmenter le risque de d\u00e9faillance de la construction (pelage\/accrochage du racleur).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour maximiser l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;impression SLS, il est crucial d&rsquo;utiliser la totalit\u00e9 du volume de construction, car le processus permet un recyclage minimal de la poudre (80 % de la poudre r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e des pi\u00e8ces imprim\u00e9es MJF est recyclable, par rapport \u00e0 SLS avec une recyclabilit\u00e9 de 30 \u00e0 50 %).<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cout-mjf-vs-sls\"><strong><strong>Co\u00fbt : MJF vs SLS<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>En utilisant un design de pi\u00e8ce (voir fichier CAO) comme mod\u00e8le de test, nous avons \u00e9valu\u00e9 la tarification des technologies d&rsquo;impression 3D MJF et SLS avec PA 12 (gris) \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de notre moteur de devis instantan\u00e9\u00ae. Les r\u00e9sultats ont indiqu\u00e9 que le SLS est environ 20 % plus cher pour la production d&rsquo;une seule unit\u00e9, mais que le SLS et le MJF ont des co\u00fbts similaires pour des productions plus importantes.
