Son fonctionnement consiste \u00e0 vaporiser une r\u00e9sine (polym\u00e9risable au moyen de radiations UV) sur un plateau, d\u2019une fa\u00e7on similaire \u00e0 une impression traditionnelle au jet d\u2019encre. La technologie Polyjet est l\u2019une des solutions d\u2019impressions 3D industrielles les plus avanc\u00e9es actuellement disponibles sur le march\u00e9, capable de r\u00e9aliser \u00e0 grande vitesse des ouvrages d\u2019une pr\u00e9cision incroyable. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 est en effet reconnu, non seulement pour sa grande vitesse d\u2019ex\u00e9cution, mais aussi pour son excellent rendu de surface. La technologie Polyjet offre \u00e9galement la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019imprimer \u00e0 l\u2019aide de plusieurs mat\u00e9riaux en m\u00eame temps.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-comment-fonctionne-l-impression-3d-polyjet\"><strong>Comment fonctionne l\u2019impression 3D Polyjet ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Le processus consiste \u00e0 faire polym\u00e9riser, au moyen de radiations UV, un photopolym\u00e8re liquide, et ce une couche apr\u00e8s l\u2019autre, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ach\u00e8vement du mod\u00e8le. Chaque buse peut projeter un mat\u00e9riau diff\u00e9rent ou de couleur distincte. L\u2019impression 3D Polyjet en elle-m\u00eame suit les \u00e9tapes suivantes :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00c9tape 1<\/strong> : les buses d\u2019\u00e9jection d\u00e9posent sur le plateau d\u2019impression une premi\u00e8re couche du mat\u00e9riau de fabrication (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un photopolym\u00e8re) en se d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant le long des axes X et Y, selon les donn\u00e9es CAO du mod\u00e8le d\u2019origine. La profondeur de chaque couche est contr\u00f4l\u00e9e de fa\u00e7on s\u00e9lective par le logiciel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9tape 2<\/strong> : d\u00e8s que les gouttelettes de photopolym\u00e8re liquide ont \u00e9t\u00e9 projet\u00e9es, elles sont imm\u00e9diatement polym\u00e9ris\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce aux deux lampes \u00e0 UV situ\u00e9es de part et d\u2019autre de la t\u00eate d\u2019impression.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9tape 3<\/strong> : une fois la couche de r\u00e9sine polym\u00e9ris\u00e9e, la plateforme d\u2019impression est abaiss\u00e9e le long de l\u2019axe Z afin d&rsquo;accommoder la couche suivante.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9tape 4<\/strong> : la couche suivante est vaporis\u00e9e par les buses d\u2019\u00e9jection et le processus se r\u00e9p\u00e8te jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que l\u2019ouvrage soit compl\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9tape 5<\/strong> : on retire alors les structures de maintien (le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant). Si d\u2019autres op\u00e9rations sont n\u00e9cessaires, elles sont effectu\u00e9es en post-usinage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La pr\u00e9sence des multiples buses d\u2019\u00e9jection permet d\u2019utiliser plusieurs mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019impression en m\u00eame temps. Elle b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un certain nombre d\u2019avantages qui la rendent unique en son genre :<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-possibilite-d-imprimer-des-pieces-multicolores-en-plusieurs-materiaux-nbsp\"><strong>Possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019imprimer des pi\u00e8ces multicolores en plusieurs mat\u00e9riaux <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est le principal avantage de la technologie Polyjet : sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 imprimer des pi\u00e8ces multicolores et compos\u00e9es de diff\u00e9rents mat\u00e9riaux, ce qui est rendu possible par les multiples buses d&rsquo;\u00e9jection, chacune capable de projeter un mat\u00e9riau diff\u00e9rent ou de couleur distincte. Les possibilit\u00e9s vont de l\u2019impression simultan\u00e9e de divers mat\u00e9riaux, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019un gradient par m\u00e9lange (par exemple : en passant progressivement d\u2019un photopolym\u00e8re rigide \u00e0 un photopolym\u00e8re plus semblable \u00e0 du caoutchouc, pour r\u00e9aliser un ouvrage dot\u00e9 d\u2019une \u00e9lasticit\u00e9 croissante). Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 permet \u00e9galement d\u2019\u00e9muler des surmoulages, dans le cas notamment de surfaces antid\u00e9rapantes et de poign\u00e9es en caoutchouc.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-production-en-lot-simplifiee-et-rapide\"><strong>Production en lot simplifi\u00e9e et rapide<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Un autre avantage apport\u00e9 par les multiples buses d\u2019\u00e9jection : une production en gros simplifi\u00e9e, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019imprimer une vingtaine d\u2019objets dans le temps o\u00f9 l\u2019on ne pourrait en imprimer qu\u2019un seul avec les technologies <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/impression-3d-depot-de-fil-fondu-fdm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FDM<\/a> ou <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/impression-3d-stereolithographie-sla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SLA<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rendu-de-surface-lisse\"><strong>Rendu de surface lisse<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 de nombreux autres proc\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u2019impression 3D (notamment les technologies <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/impression-3d-depot-de-fil-fondu-fdm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FDM <\/a>ou <a href=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/fr\/impression-3d-frittage-selectif-par-laser-sls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SLS<\/a>), la technologie PolyJet imprime des pi\u00e8ces avec un \u00e9tat de surface lisse, comparable \u00e0 celui que l\u2019on est en droit d\u2019attendre d\u2019un produit fini. Elle peut r\u00e9aliser cette prouesse gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une \u00e9paisseur de couche relativement fine, coupl\u00e9e aux qualit\u00e9s des r\u00e9sines employ\u00e9es. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 est id\u00e9al pour la fabrication d\u2019objets \u00e0 prendre en main, comme les joysticks, les accessoires de cam\u00e9ra, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"resolution-et-precision-dimensionnelle-excellentes\"><strong>R\u00e9solution et pr\u00e9cision dimensionnelle excellentes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>La pr\u00e9cision dimensionnelle atteignable via la technologie Polyjet est de l\u2019ordre de 0,1 \u00e0 0,3 mm, la r\u00e9solution de chaque couche pouvant aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 16 microns. Deux param\u00e8tres qui en font l\u2019une des meilleures technologies d\u2019impression 3D en termes de pr\u00e9cision et de r\u00e9solution. C\u2019est le choix id\u00e9al pour la r\u00e9alisation de prototypes, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019avoir une vue d\u2019ensemble ou une vue plus pr\u00e9cise (et en haute r\u00e9solution) d\u2019un \u00e9l\u00e9ment particulier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bien-adaptee-aux-modeles-complexes\"><strong>Bien adapt\u00e9e aux mod\u00e8les complexes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>M\u00eame si la technologie Polyjet demande l\u2019utilisation de structures de maintien, le fait qu\u2019elle utilise des r\u00e9sines (et non des poudres comme les technologies SLS et MJF) en fait un bon candidat pour la fabrication d\u2019ouvrages complexes. De plus, un mod\u00e8le judicieusement con\u00e7u peut permettre de se passer de structures de maintien.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inconvenients-de-la-technologie-polyjet-en-impression-3d\"><strong>Inconv\u00e9nients de la technologie Polyjet en impression 3D<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>En marge des avantages qu\u2019elle offre, la technologie Polyjet souffre d\u2019un petit nombre de d\u00e9savantages :<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-procede-couteux\"><strong>Proc\u00e9d\u00e9 co\u00fbteux<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Avoir recours \u00e0 la technologie Polyjet peut \u00eatre relativement co\u00fbteux, surtout compar\u00e9e \u00e0 des alternatives meilleur march\u00e9 comme les technologies MJF ou FDM, \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s utilis\u00e9es pour fabriquer des prototypes.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-necessite-des-structures-de-maintien\"><strong>N\u00e9cessite des structures de maintien<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>L\u2019utilisation des structures de maintien ne constitue pas, en soi, un obstacle \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019ouvrages complexes, mais leur retrait peut laisser des marques sur la surface, et les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s pour les imprimer peuvent \u00e9galement alt\u00e9rer la qualit\u00e9 de ces m\u00eames surfaces. Par exemple : l\u2019absence de structures de maintien laisse la surface lisse et brillante, alors que leur utilisation la rend terne et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement rugueuse.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-choix-limite-de-materiaux-d-impression\"><strong>Choix limit\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019impression<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 la technologie FDM, Polyjet n\u2019offre pas un choix \u00e9tendu de mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019impression.
