Lors des essais de pression sur site, r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur les r\u00e9seaux d\u2019assainissement de diff\u00e9rents exploitants, nous avons d\u00e9couvert un probl\u00e8me majeur : pr\u00e8s de 50 % des canalisations sous pression ne pouvaient pas \u00eatre correctement scell\u00e9es \u00e0 leurs extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s. Sachant que ces conduites repr\u00e9sentent environ 10 % du r\u00e9seau d\u2019assainissement, l\u2019impact \u00e9tait consid\u00e9rable. C\u2019est l\u00e0 que r\u00e9sidait le plus grand d\u00e9fi. De plus, l\u2019environnement des r\u00e9seaux d\u2019assainissement est particuli\u00e8rement exigeant : flux constant d\u2019eaux us\u00e9es, exposition \u00e0 des agents chimiques, fortes contraintes m\u00e9caniques. La solution devait donc \u00eatre \u00e0 la fois robuste et facile \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre, avec un temps d\u2019installation r\u00e9duit pour minimiser l\u2019impact sur l\u2019exploitation du r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons commenc\u00e9 par explorer diff\u00e9rentes formes et m\u00e9thodes d&rsquo;\u00e9tanch\u00e9ification. L\u2019impression 3D a \u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle \u00e0 cette \u00e9tape, nous permettant de tester rapidement plusieurs conceptions avant de valider les mat\u00e9riaux d\u00e9finitifs. Comme ces mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9taient trop co\u00fbteux et complexes pour les premi\u00e8res phases de prototypage, nous avons d\u2019abord r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des mod\u00e8les r\u00e9duits en interne, tandis que Xometry produisait des prototypes de plus grande taille avec une pr\u00e9cision optimale.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-affiner-le-design-et-choisir-les-bons-materiaux\"><strong>Affiner le design et choisir les bons mat\u00e9riaux<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>En collaboration avec l\u2019Universit\u00e9 technique d\u2019Augsbourg, nous avons travaill\u00e9 avec un groupe d&rsquo;\u00e9tudiants pour identifier les mat\u00e9riaux et adh\u00e9sifs les plus adapt\u00e9s. L\u2019adh\u00e9sion \u00e9tait un d\u00e9fi particulier, car le joint devait \u00eatre compatible avec des mat\u00e9riaux vari\u00e9s, allant de la fonte et du ciment fibr\u00e9 au PVC et au PE (poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne). Les plastiques, notamment, sont difficiles \u00e0 coller en raison de leur surface lisse. Pour garantir une tenue durable, la r\u00e9partition homog\u00e8ne de l\u2019adh\u00e9sif \u00e9tait essentielle. Afin de simuler des conditions r\u00e9elles, nous avons imprim\u00e9 des mod\u00e8les \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1:1, permettant de tester la mise en place dans un contexte concret.<\/p>\n\n\n d&rsquo;\u00e9tanch\u00e9ification et son processus d\u2019installation. Nos derniers prototypes int\u00e8grent des entretoises pour un alignement pr\u00e9cis et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9s avec des canalisations transparentes pour observer l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 du class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-passer-a-la-production-industrielle\"><strong>Passer \u00e0 la production industrielle<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Si l\u2019impression 3D a \u00e9t\u00e9 inestimable pour le prototypage et les tests, notre prochaine \u00e9tape est d\u2019adopter l\u2019usinage CNC ou le moulage par injection pour la production en s\u00e9rie. Ces m\u00e9thodes nous permettront d\u2019assurer la r\u00e9sistance, la durabilit\u00e9 et la scalabilit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour une int\u00e9gration dans les r\u00e9seaux d\u2019assainissement. Nous collaborons actuellement avec plusieurs exploitants de r\u00e9seaux int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par cette innovation. Par ailleurs, nous discutons avec des entreprises sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans la construction de canalisations d\u2019assainissement sous pression, qui utilisent aujourd\u2019hui des solutions de fermeture classiques. Notre joint universel devra \u00eatre au moins aussi performant en termes de co\u00fbt et de facilit\u00e9 d\u2019installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous poursuivons nos tests et ajustements avec pour objectif de commercialiser cette solution. Cette innovation pourrait r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les co\u00fbts pour les exploitants de r\u00e9seaux d\u2019assainissement, et indirectement pour chacun d\u2019entre nous, puisque l\u2019entretien du r\u00e9seau est financ\u00e9 par les redevances pr\u00e9lev\u00e9es sur la facture d\u2019eau.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ce-que-j-ai-appris-et-conseils-aux-innovateurs\"><strong>Ce que j\u2019ai appris et conseils aux innovateurs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>L\u2019un des enseignements cl\u00e9s de ce projet est l\u2019importance de l\u2019it\u00e9ration et de la flexibilit\u00e9. Aucune solution n\u2019est parfaite d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part : chaque prototype, chaque \u00e9chec, chaque ajustement nous rapproche d\u2019un produit optimis\u00e9.
