Leur fus\u00e9e phare connue sous le nom de NIMBUS comprend un moteur-fus\u00e9e hybride \u00e0 \u00e9tranglement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en interne, ainsi qu&rsquo;une gamme de composants de fus\u00e9e con\u00e7us et \u00e9tudi\u00e9s par des \u00e9tudiants. Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2018, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a eu plus de 100 \u00e9tudiants qui ont travaill\u00e9 sans rel\u00e2che pour atteindre ses objectifs.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nimbus-la-premiere-fusee-a-propergol-liquide\"><strong>NIMBUS, la premi\u00e8re fus\u00e9e \u00e0 propergol liquide<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>NIMBUS est une fus\u00e9e de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, dot\u00e9e du tout premier moteur \u00e0 propergol liquide construit par des \u00e9tudiants. De mani\u00e8re toute aussi indispensable, l&rsquo;incroyable nouveau syst\u00e8me de bande de serrage qui s\u00e9pare le c\u00f4ne de nez pour d\u00e9ployer le parachute et r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 la fus\u00e9e NIMBUS apr\u00e8s le lancement du vol. Bas\u00e9e sur une croissance constante et soutenue, l&rsquo;\u00e9dition 2023 du concours b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du soutien de l&rsquo;arm\u00e9e portugaise et de la municipalit\u00e9 de Const\u00e2ncia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e 2023, le concours a attir\u00e9 des \u00e9tudiants ing\u00e9nieurs de toute l&rsquo;Europe pour avoir la chance de lancer et de concurrencer leurs propres fus\u00e9es sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es. \u00c9valu\u00e9 sur la construction technique, le design de la fus\u00e9e, le succ\u00e8s du vol de lancement et la collaboration de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe. s&rsquo;est av\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00eatre un \u00e9v\u00e9nement fantastique et une exp\u00e9rience incroyable. D\u00e8s le deuxi\u00e8me jour, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de l&rsquo;ICLR avait termin\u00e9 ses v\u00e9rifications apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;assemblage. Leur fus\u00e9e NIMBUS \u00e9tait pr\u00eate \u00e0 \u00eatre examin\u00e9e par Flight Readiness (FRR), un groupe d&rsquo;experts EuroC charg\u00e9 d&rsquo;assurer la qualit\u00e9 de vol et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la fus\u00e9e. Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;examen rigoureux de l&rsquo;expert, la fus\u00e9e NIMBUS a re\u00e7u l&rsquo;autorisation de vol, passant avec succ\u00e8s l&rsquo;examen du FRR. Ce jour-l\u00e0 a marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de l&rsquo;ICLR avec sa fus\u00e9e enti\u00e8rement assembl\u00e9e pr\u00e9par\u00e9e sur le paddock. Chaque sous-\u00e9quipe avait tous ses syst\u00e8mes pr\u00eats et en place pour le lancement le lendemain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout projet d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie comporte des succ\u00e8s et des \u00e9checs, mais l&rsquo;aspect le plus important se trouve dans ce que les ing\u00e9nieurs apprennent en cours de route, ce qu&rsquo;ils retiennent et utilisent pour leurs prochains designs. Cependant, plut\u00f4t que de consid\u00e9rer cela comme un \u00e9chec, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe l&rsquo;a pris comme une le\u00e7on \u00e0 m\u00e9diter et est plus motiv\u00e9e que jamais \u00e0 lancer sa fus\u00e9e NIMBUS \u00e0 la prochaine opportunit\u00e9 qui se pr\u00e9sentera. Il \u00e9tait \u00e9vident que l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de l&rsquo;ICLR avait fait preuve d&rsquo;une pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance exceptionnelle et que tout ce travail acharn\u00e9 ne serait pas vain &#8211; NIMBUS prendra son envol dans un avenir proche &#8211; gardez un \u0153il sur cet espace\u00a0!<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vers-l-infini-et-au-dela-un-avenir-passionnant-pour-l-iclr\"><strong><strong>Vers l&rsquo;infini et au-del\u00e0 &#8211; Un avenir passionnant pour l&rsquo;ICLR<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de l&rsquo;Imperial College of London Rocketry (ICLR) reconstruit actuellement les parties de NIMBUS qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 endommag\u00e9es et pr\u00e9voit de lancer sa fus\u00e9e aux Pays-Bas en mars 2024. En plus de cela, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe pr\u00e9voit de construire une nouvelle fus\u00e9e, une version am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de NIMBUS pour EuRoc 2024, qui comprendra une version plus r\u00e9cente et encore plus impressionnante de notre moteur de fus\u00e9e liquide, et elle participera \u00e0 la \u00ab\u00a0Race to Space\u00a0\u00bb, une comp\u00e9tition o\u00f9 les \u00e9quipes britanniques testent leurs moteurs de fus\u00e9e.
