Pour cette \u00e9dition 2022, l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9, r\u00e9sistance et polyvalence sont les ma\u00eetres-mots pour affronter un trac\u00e9 aussi redout\u00e9 qu\u2019exigeant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les coureurs ont ainsi d\u00fb faire face au trac\u00e9 \u201cParis-Roubaix\u201d qui inclut des sections gravel et sur pav\u00e9s qui sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement assez douloureuses. Pour son 40e anniversaire, l\u2019entreprise avait pr\u00e9vu en amont de commercialiser un mod\u00e8le carbone et le concours est le moment r\u00eav\u00e9 d\u2019en initier la pr\u00e9sentation au grand public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais pourquoi le carbone ? Pour Aymeric Le Brun, g\u00e9rant de Cyfac, c\u2019est l\u2019occasion de rappeler leur savoir-faire unique, notamment avec ce mat\u00e9riau noble qu\u2019ils utilisent d\u00e9j\u00e0 pour la confection de cadres de tandem. C\u2019\u00e9tait aussi l\u2019occasion de montrer qu\u2019un cadre carbone peut \u00eatre aussi, voire m\u00eame plus, confortable que l\u2019acier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin le carbone poss\u00e8de d\u2019excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques et repr\u00e9sente un gage de l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9. L\u2019id\u00e9e de base est partie du cadreur r\u00e9f\u00e9rent, Damien Leclerc, qui apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience et de nombreuses heures sur Adobe Illustrator, est arriv\u00e9 un matin avec un concept novateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ing\u00e9nieur propose ainsi de doter le v\u00e9lo de lames en titane flexibles et de retourner la fourche avant \u00e0 l\u2019aide de deux petits basculeurs, eux aussi en titane. Inspir\u00e9e en partie par l\u2019usage de la fabrication additive chez des concurrents, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de Cyfac d\u00e9cide de s\u2019y essayer. D\u2019apr\u00e8s Paul, l\u2019impression 3D leur a permis d\u2019optimiser le design des pi\u00e8ces en s\u2019affranchissant totalement des limites fix\u00e9es par l\u2019usinage traditionnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quant aux choix du titane, il est justifi\u00e9 par la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019obtenir les pi\u00e8ces les plus l\u00e9g\u00e8res possibles et la volont\u00e9 d\u2019utiliser un mat\u00e9riau noble. Face aux probl\u00e8mes actuels d\u2019approvisionnement, le fabricant de cadres de v\u00e9lo a \u00e9t\u00e9 oblig\u00e9 d\u2019optimiser les achats de certaines pi\u00e8ces afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande et aux d\u00e9lais impartis. Un probl\u00e8me de taille que Xometry a \u00e9t\u00e9 capable de surmonter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre du concours, il \u00e9tait hors de question pour Cyfac d\u2019attendre pr\u00e8s d\u2019un an, comme aupr\u00e8s de certains fournisseurs, pour la livraison des pi\u00e8ces. L\u2019un des points forts de Xometry mis en avant par leur \u00e9quipe est la rapidit\u00e9 \u00e0 laquelle ils ont obtenu les diff\u00e9rentes pi\u00e8ces &#8211; les possibles difficult\u00e9es d\u2019approvisionnement ont \u00e9t\u00e9 contourn\u00e9es et les d\u00e9lais tr\u00e8s courts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 respect\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa fiabilit\u00e9 du partenaire et des pi\u00e8ces livr\u00e9es \u00e9tait indispensable. Il y avait de tels enjeux \u00e9conomiques entrepris. Nous avions besoin de l\u2019assurance d\u2019avoir des pi\u00e8ces de bonne qualit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l\u2019heure pour les besoins du concours\u201d, raconte Aymeric. \u201cSi \u00e7a c\u2019\u00e9tait mal pass\u00e9, on n\u2019aurait pas gagn\u00e9 le concours\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019autre point fort de Xometry selon Cyfac, c\u2019est l\u2019aspect humain. \u201cHadrien Comsa, le gestionnaire Paul. \u201cC\u2019est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able d\u2019avoir un interlocuteur disponible qui r\u00e9pond \u00e0 toutes mes questions\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xometry a ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9 de la production de pi\u00e8ces en impression 3D (basculeurs pour la suspension, biellettes, inserts au bout des haubans), mais aussi de certaines \u00e9l\u00e9ments en usinage (deux demi-capots de
