Ce programme offre aux \u00e9tudiants europ\u00e9ens l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de concevoir, construire et lancer des exp\u00e9riences \u00e0 bord de fus\u00e9es-sondes suborbitales, leur offrant ainsi une exp\u00e9rience concr\u00e8te en recherche a\u00e9rospatiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet r\u00e9unit une \u00e9quipe pluridisciplinaire d\u2019\u00e9tudiants de la LTU, r\u00e9partis en cinq d\u00e9partements sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s : m\u00e9canique, \u00e9lectronique, logiciel, sciences &amp; charge utile, et gestion. Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation, 25 membres ont contribu\u00e9 au projet, dont 16 travaillent actuellement sur place \u00e0 Kiruna, en Su\u00e8de. La FFU est con\u00e7ue pour \u00eatre largu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019apog\u00e9e de la fus\u00e9e (~80 km d\u2019altitude), offrant ainsi environ 70 secondes de microgravit\u00e9 aux chercheurs. Ce syst\u00e8me leur permet de se concentrer uniquement sur leurs exp\u00e9riences, sans avoir \u00e0 red\u00e9velopper une nouvelle plateforme \u00e0 chaque mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour assurer une r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration s\u00e9curis\u00e9e, la FFU int\u00e8gre un syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9ploiement de parachute contr\u00f4l\u00e9. Sa structure modulaire, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de stabilisation d\u2019attitude (ATSS &#8211; Attitude Stabilisation System) et une charge utile \u00e0 mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 changement de phase (PCM &#8211; Phase Change Material), en fait une plateforme de recherche adaptable pour de futures \u00e9tudes en microgravit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspir\u00e9 de pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents projets men\u00e9s \u00e0 la LTU, FENRIR s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 du projet ASTER, un autre<a href=\"https:\/\/rexusbexus.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> programme du REXUS\/BEXUS<\/a> ax\u00e9 sur le contr\u00f4le pr\u00e9cis de l\u2019attitude des unit\u00e9s en chute libre. L\u2019ATSS repose sur trois roues \u00e0 r\u00e9action mont\u00e9es perpendiculairement, qui stockent et redistribuent le moment cin\u00e9tique, r\u00e9duisant ainsi efficacement la rotation de la FFU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En limitant le mouvement de rotation, l\u2019ATSS am\u00e9liore les conditions exp\u00e9rimentales, permettant la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019\u00e9tudes en microgravit\u00e9 avec une pr\u00e9cision accrue. Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019anciens syst\u00e8mes qui exigeaient un contr\u00f4le complexe de l\u2019attitude, la solution adopt\u00e9e par FENRIR garantit une stabilit\u00e9 optimale tout en conservant une conception modulable, pr\u00eate pour les futures recherches.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pcm-etude-des-materiaux-a-changement-de-phase-dans-l-espace\"><strong><strong>PCM : \u00e9tude des mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 changement de phase dans l\u2019espace<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>L\u2019Unit\u00e9 de Vol Libre (FFU) embarque \u00e9galement une charge utile d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 changement de phase (PCM). Cette exp\u00e9rience vise \u00e0 observer comment ces mat\u00e9riaux passent de l\u2019\u00e9tat solide \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat liquide en microgravit\u00e9. La technologie PCM est couramment utilis\u00e9e dans les syst\u00e8mes de r\u00e9gulation thermique des engins spatiaux, car elle permet d\u2019absorber et de restituer la chaleur. Cependant, son comportement en microgravit\u00e9 reste encore peu \u00e9tudi\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour combler cette lacune, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de FENRIR a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un module exp\u00e9rimental sp\u00e9cifique, compos\u00e9 de :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Une fen\u00eatre d\u2019observation transparente permettant aux cam\u00e9ras embarqu\u00e9es d\u2019enregistrer le processus de transition de phase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Un toit en cuivre et un \u00e9l\u00e9ment chauffant, assurant un contr\u00f4le pr\u00e9cis des changements d\u2019\u00e9tat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quatre capteurs de temp\u00e9rature internes, surveillant en temps r\u00e9el la r\u00e9partition de la chaleur et l\u2019\u00e9volution des phases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019exp\u00e9rience PCM, combin\u00e9e au syst\u00e8me de stabilisation ATSS, offrira des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cieuses sur la gestion thermique en environnement spatial. Ces r\u00e9sultats contribueront \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des syst\u00e8mes de contr\u00f4le thermique des futurs engins spatiaux et \u00e0 la recherche en microgravit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En int\u00e9grant les charges utiles ATSS et PCM, FENRIR propose une plateforme polyvalente pour les \u00e9tudes en microgravit\u00e9. Son architecture modulaire facilite l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation en permettant aux chercheurs de mener des tests sans avoir \u00e0 concevoir de nouveaux syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 chaque mission.<\/p>\n\n\n
