Tra i fattori che contribuiscono al risultato finale vi sono la tecnologia di stampa 3D utilizzata, la qualit\u00e0 della stampante e il materiale di stampa, ma anche il design, la posizione e l\u2019orientamento della parte durante la stampa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prima di scegliere un processo di produzione additiva, \u00e8 necessario considerare la rugosit\u00e0 (misurata in Ra nella maggior parte dei casi) delle parti stampate in 3D. Se una tecnologia prevede l\u2019utilizzo di strutture di supporto, come la modellazione a deposizione fusa (FDM), occorre prestare particolare attenzione perch\u00e9 i punti di contatto tra le strutture di supporto e la parte presentano una qualit\u00e0 superficiale del tutto diversa rispetto alla parte.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-valutazione-della-rugosita-superficiale-nei-processi-di-stampa-3d\"><strong>Valutazione della rugosit\u00e0 superficiale nei processi di stampa 3D<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>La rugosit\u00e0 superficiale di un materiale viene sostanzialmente misurata in termini di parametri Ra e Rz. Per semplicit\u00e0, Ra si riferisce alla rugosit\u00e0 media di una superficie, mentre Rz si riferisce alla differenza tra i \u201cpicchi\u201d pi\u00f9 alti e le \u201cvalli\u201d pi\u00f9 profonde della superficie. I parametri R vengono generalmente misurati in \u00b5m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il parametro Ra pu\u00f2 essere definito semplicemente come la deviazione dal piano superficiale ideale, che solitamente viene misurata in micropollici o micrometri (\u00b5m). Maggiore sar\u00e0 il parametro Ra, maggiore sar\u00e0 la rugosit\u00e0 superficiale. Tutte le misurazioni sono state eseguite in-house e i valori sono valori medi. I risultati possono variare se le parti sono state stampate in un materiale diverso o da un fornitore diverso.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rugosita-superficiale-nei-processi-a-fusione-a-letto-di-polvere-pbf\"><strong>Rugosit\u00e0 superficiale nei processi a fusione a letto di polvere (PBF)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>La fusione a letto di polvere include tecnologie come la Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), la sinterizzazione laser selettiva (SLS) e la fusione laser selettiva dei metalli (DMLS), i cui materiali di stampa sono generalmente polimeri e polveri metalliche. Tuttavia, il processo MJF \u00e8 in grado di produrre superfici meno porose e finiture pi\u00f9 lisce rispetto alla SLS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per quanto riguarda le tecnologie a fusione a letto di polvere, la carta vetrata \u00e8 la soluzione pi\u00f9 semplice ed economica per levigare le superfici. Altre opzioni includono smerigliatura, burattatura e sabbiatura tradizionale o con perline di vetro. La smerigliatura e la sabbiatura hanno un impatto minimo su tolleranze e dimensioni. La burattatura, invece, \u00e8 un processo efficiente ma molto pi\u00f9 lento rispetto ad altri metodi di finitura superficiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nella sinterizzazione laser selettiva, \u00e8 possibile ottenere superfici quasi del tutto prive di pori tramite infusioni sottovuoto o un processo multifase che prevede il riempimento superficiale e pi\u00f9 passaggi di smerigliatura.<\/p>\n\n\n appartenente a questa categoria. Il processo prevede l\u2019estrusione di un filamento termoplastico da un ugello riscaldato, che deposita la termoplastica fusa sulla piattaforma di stampa un sottile strato alla volta, sulla base dei dati CAD inseriti. Una volta indurita, la parte \u00e8 completa. Questa tecnologia richiede strutture di supporto per sostenere gli elementi sottili o a sbalzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>A differenza di altre tecnologie di stampa 3D, le parti realizzate con la modellazione a deposizione fusa presentano una rugosit\u00e0 superficiale molto pi\u00f9 elevata. Gli strati superiori (nella direzione dell\u2019asse Z) sono generalmente corrugati, mentre gli strati inferiori sono lisci (se non sono state usate strutture di supporto in quell\u2019area). A differenza delle parti PBF, le superfici sono prive di pori, ma al contempo non sono simili al vetro come nelle parti SLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se presente, il materiale di supporto compromette l\u2019uniformit\u00e0 della rugosit\u00e0 superficiale e deve quindi essere rimosso in fase di finitura. Qualsiasi ulteriore operazione comprometterebbe infatti l\u2019estetica e i dettagli della parte, danneggiandola. L\u2019ABS (acrilonitrile-butadiene-stirene) pu\u00f2 invece essere sottoposto a smerigliatura, burattatura o sabbiatura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebbene il PLA sia pi\u00f9 resistente e rigido dell\u2019ABS, le sue propriet\u00e0 di bassa resistenza al calore, duttilit\u00e0 e resistenza alla flessione lo rendono difficile da trattare. Nota per la sua velocit\u00e0 e l\u2019incredibile precisione, si tratta di una tecnologia di produzione additiva a fotopolimeri rigidi, simile alla stampa a getto d\u2019inchiostro, che prevede il getto di resina polimerizzabile ai raggi UV al di sopra di un supporto di stampa. Questa tecnologia viene anche utilizzata per produrre le strutture di supporto che verranno poi rimosse in fase di post-lavorazione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tra tutte le tecnologie di stampa 3D, Polyjet \u00e8 una di quelle che fornisce le migliori finiture superficiali.
