Polyjet for clear wearable casings

Has anyone here used Polyjet for transparent consumer electronics casings? I’m designing a small wearable device that needs a clear front cover to show internal LEDs and sensors. I know polyjet can do translucent and even clear finishes, but I’m wondering how well fine details (like small snap fits or embossed logos) hold up in practice.

Also, any advice on minimum wall thickness or post-processing tricks to get a truly clear finish? Thanks in advance!

PolyJet clear materials are awesome for looks-like models, and pretty good for functions-as models. It is actually perfect for prototypes of transparent enclosures like yours, and I’ve used it for this. For clear parts, make sure you’re using Stratasys VeroUltraClear or RGD720. You’ll need post-processing to go from translucent to clear. Wet sanding (600 grit and up to 2000) followed by clear coating or polishing. That means outside shapes need to be smooth and sandable, and inside features minimised because they’re hard to sand. If you print with the internal faces upwards and use minimal support, you’ll get fairly good internal gloss directly from the print.
