Recommended wall-thickness for FDM

Hello! what could be the optimal wall thickness for FDM 3d printing large-scale parts, considering material strength and without compromising structural integrity?

Solved by Nikolaus Mroncz

Hello, there is no general answer here, so better to evaluate the concrete part.

We recommend a minimum wall thickness of 1-2mm for unsupported walls in FDM, but this depends also to the overall design.

Hi Nikolaus, thank you for your reply! How is it in other 3D printing technologies? Do you have, probably a comparison about the different technologies and their wall thicknesses?
