Hello, I am currently working on the design/manufacture of a half-handlebar for a sports motorcycle (GSXR 1000). What is the best type of process that I could establish for the manufacture of the handlebar (with aluminum as the material)? Is it preferable to opt for die casting or sand casting? This is without taking into account a target quantity while maintaining a reasonable manufacturing cost. Thank you

    Good afternoon. The part design will determine the most suitable process for your product, but considering that you have been working on a product which might has high appearence requirements and production , it is recommended to start the prototyping phase with CNC process. Once the product design will be fully defined and the production volume is known, we can help with the most suitable tooling technology in terms of the project cost model.
