Chrome plating finish
P
Hey there, does any one has experience with chrome plating? I’m considering it as finish option for my parts which will be used in wear applications, but I have few questions:
- What base materials are compatible with the chrome plating process? I’m mainly working with stainless steel and some high-strength alloys.
- What thickness range can be achieved with the chrome plating?
- What is the hardness of the resulting chrome-plated layer?
- What is the surface roughness I can expect post-plating?
Thanks in advance for any insights or recommendations on this!
