Hi everyone! Which is the best solution to 3D print a food contact and high temperature resistant kitchen utensil for manufacturing purpose? Which material? Which manufacturing process? What about compliance with EU regulation (https://www.efsa.europa.eu/en/topics/topic/food-contact-materials)?

Solved by Nikolaus Mroncz
Dear michele.gennaro, we can produce food compliant parts in SLS and PA12 or PA11. Gladly I can provide you an example of an certificate before your order, showing it is also compliant with EU regulation. Just leave a message in your inquiry, so I can provide. The right choice on our webside would be SLS/ Nylon Food Grade

Thank you so much. Could you please provide an example of certificate? And is the final product ready to be commercialized compliant with EU regulation? What about marking, bag and tag?

To go more into detail, it would be better to know the product, there also not every design is suitable.

By the way, here’s a link to an article with more details on food-grade 3D printing materials and technologies https://xometry.pro/en-eu/articles/3d-printing-food-safe/
