Vapor smoothed and dyed black part MJF vs. SLS

Hi there,
Can someone tell me how does the black dyed MJF nylon with vapor smoothing compare with black dyed SLS nylon with vapor smoothing? Specifically with regards to surface finish and visible layer lines.

Solved by Nikolaus Mroncz
Thanks for your questions! Here I share some images, how the parts may look: The first is SLS and the second MJF. Finally the parts may look quite similar, still it also depends on the design.

Thanks Nikolaus for sharing these pictures! Indeed, the surface looks quite the same. What about the cost? Is it less expensive to apply such finishes on an MJF or SLS nylon part?

For this, please try our Instant Quoting Engine. You can upload the part on our website and see immediately the price, also if you change the technology. It depends on volume and design of the part, so not to answer, the one or the other.
