Hydrocarbons and heat resistant material for intake pipe

Hello, I am planning to 3D print this moped engine intake pipe using plastic sintering. I would like to know which material is best suited for this purpose, considering it needs to be resistant to hydrocarbons (gasoline and oil) and withstand temperatures around 100°C. Similar parts have already been made using this process; I know they are made of polyamide, but I don’t know more than that.

Hello Alex,

Yes, you can indeed use Polyamide on this application. We recommend you to use the 3DP process SLS or MJF with PA12 material.
