Hi, has anyone tried blasting wood? I gave it a shot with glass beads, but I think my pressure was too high. Any tips on the right pressure or other media that might work better?

    Wood can definitely be successfully sandblasted. Sandblasting is quite a popular technique for wood restoration projects and is also used to strip paint off of wooden furniture. Whether or not you are successful really depends on the type of wood, blasting grit, and blasting pressure.

      I am not sure what the wood is but it seems to be some kind of softwood with a light color, possibly pine.

      I see, glass beads are certainly too aggressive for softwoods so I would start by changing to something a bit less aggressive like walnut shells, corn cobs, or even baking soda.
